EE-CEC on Experience Immigration
밴쿠버 조선일보

In this column, we will discuss one of the three Express Entry programs, the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Canadian Experience Class. CEC and Canadian experienced immigrants are, as they call it, a method of obtaining employment experience in Canada and applying for immigration. In short, it's a popular immigration method through a process called 'post-abroad immigration'. In order to apply for immigration through the CEC method, the following four conditions must be met: The first condition is a career in Canada. You must have at least one full-time Canadian experience or part-time experience commensurate with full-time within the last three years. If you have worked at least 30 hours a week or worked part-time, 1560 hours will be considered as a full-time experience for a year. For example, if you work 15 hours a week for two years, you can be recognized as a full-time one year. For your information, your experience as a Study Permit, as a Co-Op or Off-Campus, is not appreciated and you have to work with a legitimate Work Permit to be recognized. The second condition is the working group. Canada's occupational groups are largely divided into groups of 0, A, B, C and D, with at least one year's experience built up into groups of 0, A, or B. "Zero" is usually a manager, "A" is a professional, and "B" is a technical worker. Typical jobs in the 0 or A group include managers, IT, and the typical jobs in the B group are chefs, bakers, and supervisors. Cs and Ds are server, barista, and hotel front desks, which are not suitable for CEC conditions. The third condition is language score. In English, both IELTS - General or CELPIP tests can be accepted and French can be recognized as a TEF. For your information, the language score will vary depending on the workgroup described above. For groups 0 or A, you must obtain at least 7 points each for CELPIP; for groups B, you must obtain at least 5 points each; for groups B, you must obtain at least 5 points each for Reading 4 and for CELPIP. The English score is only accepted in the last two years, so I have to take the English test again after two years. The fourth condition is the planned settlement area. It is irrelevant to state that you live in all Canadian states, but you cannot apply for CEC if you plan to settle in Quebec. You can apply for CEC through Express Entry Pool registration as soon as you meet the above conditions. If you have earned enough comprehensive ranking points, you can also receive Invitation and Invitation right away. The advantage of CEC is that through its one-year experience in Canada, you can earn higher Express Entry overall ranking scores and gain experience in Canadian employment even before immigration, so you can quickly adapt to and get a job in Canada after obtaining a permanent residency. Also, because CEC is not required to have an academic background, applicants who are not highly educated can apply for immigration through CEC. For CEC, the EE draw is usually every two to three weeks, so you can apply for fast immigration as long as you meet the score. After your immigration application, you can extend Open Work Permit without LMIA through Bridge Open Work Permit. Average Express Entry - The CEC is in progress for about 6 months. Finally, since most immigration methods, as well as CEC, want 0, A or B, from the first job selection, I recommend that you find your job group more meticulously and pursue your career. In addition, CEC is a program that is simpler than other immigration methods, so many applicants who are preparing to immigrate are receiving immigration, but it takes time and effort to complete a one-year career in Canada. I hope this time and effort will help everyone preparing for a permanent residency in Canada one step closer to acquiring one Thank you. Express Entry Status
밴쿠버 조선일보
2019-03-13
1016
On Wednesday, March 6, the Canadian Immigration Service sent a total of 3,350 invitations for Express Entry to apply for permanent residency in Canada, with a draw score of 454 (Comprehensive Ranking System CRS). This is the fifth Express Entry draw in 2019, and we have issued a total of 17,850 invitations this year, up 55 percent (6,350) compared to the same period last year (1,500 invitations issued). This is seen as the Canadian Department of Immigration's willingness to accommodate more Canadian immigrants, and is expected to issue more invitations this year, compared with last year's total of 89,900. The 2019 Express Entry score and invitation trend was 449 points for 3,900 people on January 9, 443 points for 3,900 people on January 23, 438 points for 3,350 people on January 30, 457 points for 3,350 people on February 20, and 454 points for 3,350 people on March 6, and the number of invitations gradually decreased. The score for this March 6 draw was 454, down three points from the score of February 20. The draw was delayed for three weeks as invitations, which normally appeared every two weeks, were issued once in February. As a result, the score for the February draw rose to 457 points, and on March 6, we maintained the 450 mark, which is 454 points. Since it's only been two weeks since the score was raised in February, the score is still high and we expect to see a lower score if more draws are made in the future. Currently, about 100,000 Express Entry candidates are registered, and since about 2,500 are in the 450s or higher, and 32,000 remain between 401 and 450s, it is estimated that the number will fall below 450 after the next draw. In addition, in the draw of 454 points on March 6, if the candidate is registered as Express Entry with 454 points, the invitation was issued only to the candidate who registered for Express Entry Pool before 5:00 p.m. on February 11, 2019. In the case of candidates registered after that time, 3,350 people were not selected due to the same rate score. Recently, Express Entry draw scores have surpassed the 450 mark, and many candidates for permanent residency through Express Entry are worried, and candidates can improve their scores in many ways. Improve your score with education, experience, English, French, spouse or LMIA. Among them, the extra points from state immigration will have the greatest impact on your score improvement, and you will get an additional 600 points. In addition to the Express Entry draw over the past two weeks, three states, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Prince Edward Island, have also drawn state immigration, giving Canadian immigration candidates more opportunities. With the Canadian Immigration Service announcing plans to accommodate more immigrants, it is expected that the current high draw score will be temporary and that the number of draw points will be lowered in the future. We look forward to hearing from all Express Entry candidates soon. Justin Sim / Immigration Law Officer CanNest nest emigration 604-662-3266 info@cannestimm.com www.cannestimm.com

EE-FST on Technical Immigration
밴쿠버 조선일보

Today we will talk about the FSW professional immigration, one of the three methods of Express Entry that we discussed last time, and the FST technical immigration, which is receiving a lot of attention these days. FST, or technical migration, was first introduced in 2013 to address the shortage of skilled workers due to Canada's rapid economic growth. This program gives overseas skilled workers easier opportunities to obtain permanent residency, so they can apply on lower terms than other Express Entry. FST has three main conditions: experience, English score and LMIA (Labor Permit)/qualification. The first condition is that you only need two years of experience in the last five years. If you've worked 30 or more hours full-time or 31-20 hours part-time, you'll be able to meet the conditions, not Canadian, but overseas. Of course, if you have more than one year of experience in Canada, you can earn extra points in the EE draw. Possible occupational groups are chefs, bakers, butcher shops, industrial, electrical, construction, maintenance and equipment operations, natural resources, agricultural and related production supervisors, processing, manufacturing and utility supervisors, and central control operators. The second required English condition is Reading: 3.5, Writing: 4.0, Listening: 5.0, Speaking: 5.0 and CELPIP Reading: 4, Writing: 5, Speaking: 5, Speaking: 5, and five, which are the other methods of immigration, which can be met only by English scores lower than FSW and CEC. Finally, you must have an LMIA or related certificate. Applicants who have obtained the certificates required by the state for each job do not have to receive an LMIA, but if they do not have the certificates required by the state, they must obtain an LMIA separately. LMIA must not expire on application and you can own Work Permit through LMIA if LMIA has already expired. The advantage of FST is that it is possible to apply for permanent residency only with a lower English score compared to other Express Entry Migration methods without a year's experience in Canada. In addition, the scores for receiving Express Entry invitations are low, so it's a way many immigration applicants are considering. The average Express Entry draw is around 440 points, while the FST is around 280 points. Unlike other CECs and FSWs, FSTs do not have a draw twice a month, but if you look at the past draw times, they will be drawn twice a year in random periods. Applicants who are not prepared because they are drawn without prior notice may miss the opportunity and have to wait for the next FST draw in the next 4-8 months, so they must be registered in the Express Entry Pool as soon as possible to meet the basic conditions for entering the FST draw. According to the FST draw score for the past two years, the score has been rising gradually, with 199 points in May 2017, 241 in November 2017, 288 in May 2018 and 284 in September 2018. In addition, it is expected that more Cook and Chef professionals will flock to the FST program, excluding additional Cook and Chef scores from the upcoming BCPNP state immigration process, which could lead to a higher draw score for 2019. That's why FSTs are being chosen with lower scores. So, if you register without sufficient preparation, you should keep in mind that the score of the FST is lower than other immigration methods, and it is not that you will easily immigrate, so you should prepare accurate documents through hard information when preparing for immigration. Improving PGWP, Encouraging International Student
밴쿠버 조선일보

As of February 14, 2019, the Post Grading Work Permit Program (PGWP), which gives international students who graduate from Canada a chance to apply for permanent residency, has been improved to a more favorable condition for prospective PGWP applicants. Through this improvement, the Canadian Ministry of Immigration has increased the period of application for PGWP from 90 days to 180 days and improved the number of student visa applicants to apply for PGWP. The improvement is also seen as an attempt by the Canadian Immigration Service to favor and encourage international students in the future. PGWP is an easy program for international students who graduated from Canadian schools with conditions to receive PGWP through Open Work Permit to gain up to three years of employment experience while staying in Canada. PGWP can apply once in a lifetime for any international student who has taken eight months or more of the classes, provided school conditions are available. The approval period is proportional to the school's class period. International students who have completed programs less than 8 months to 2 years will be approved for PGWP period between 8 months and 2 years in proportion to the class period. If you have taken a class for more than two years, the PGWP for three years will be approved. PGWP-enabled schools can be private schools designated by the Immigration Bureau or Canadian public schools. Students who take English or French classes cannot apply for PGWP. PGWP makes it easier to find a job that suits you because you can work in most Canadian jobs, and you can change your employer after a job. The purpose of PGWP is to make it easier to qualify for permanent residency through the Canadian employment experience and then apply for immigration. Before this improvement announcement, I had to apply for PGWP 90 days before the school program completion certificate was issued. Therefore, many applicants failed to prepare the documents within 90 days, so this opportunity was missed or the graduation certificate was issued instead of being issued. Many international students who tried to gain employment experience through PGWP often did not receive PGWP issuance because they could not apply again once they had missed it. However, it is expected that applicants who missed the opportunity by extending the period from 90 days to 180 days will be able to apply once again and will be able to apply after preparing the documents with leisurely enough time in the future. In order to apply for PGWP, only valid study period holders in Canada can apply for PGWP. This time, it has been modified so that they can apply for PGWP even if they are not valid study period holders. Thanks to this, students whose study period has expired upon graduation or graduates whose study period is only a short time away can apply for PGWP immediately without reapplying for study period. As PGWP applications become easier, the number of applicants is expected to increase, but this improvement has eased the basic conditions for them to apply, but you still need to ensure that you are ready and apply through the documents and information you need when you apply. Super visa, how can I get it?
밴쿠버 조선일보

Today I'm going to show you about Supervisa, which was mentioned in the last column. Supervisa is a visa that allows parents or grandparents to stay in Canada for two years if they wish to enter the country before immigration is approved or if they do not receive the above immigration invitation. The advantage of staying longer than the typical visiting visa period of 6 months is that you can stay longer. Super visas are visas that allow longer-term stays than regular visiting visas and must meet more visa requirements. Conditions to be met: · Invitees must be permanent residents or citizens · Invitees should write an invitation letter to invite their parents and grandparents, and the contents of the letter must include that they provide financial support during their stay in Canada. · Invitees should have enough income to live according to the number of families including dependents, invited parents, and grandparents. The minimum income per family number is $31,061, $38,185, $46,362, $52,583, $69,304, 7, $66,027. Evidence of income can be provided by the Notice of Assessment (NOA) or the latest T4/T1 wage statement, bank transaction statement, and tenure certificate. · Applicants must take out insurance from a Canadian private insurance company that is guaranteed for at least one year. · The applicant must prove that the purpose of coming to Canada is to visit purely and will leave Canada after two years. Examples of methods to prove include documents that can identify the home country's origin or address, specifying the exact purpose of the visit, and proving the finances. · The applicant should take a physical examination at the designated hospital to prove that there are no physical problems. You can apply for a super visa if the above conditions are met. Online reception or mailing is available as a method of application. Canada's Immigration Bureau recommends online applications, citing the low possibility of rapid document delivery, short processing period and missing documents. It takes approximately 74 days to process after filing. Super visa has the same characteristics as regular visiting visa. Therefore, employment or study in Canada is not possible and therefore cannot benefit from the Canadian Government Health Insurance. As mentioned above, a Canadian private insurance policy is mandatory Although there have been many applicants in the past and many in recent years, if a guest or applicant cannot meet the requirements of applying for a super visa, entering the country on a regular visiting visa is also a way. In a country like Korea, where entry is possible without visa application for visitors, the visa can be extended every six months instead of applying for a super visa with various conditions.
